Adie Hardy
Studio owner, Record Producer, Sound Engineer, Bass player and currently Guitarist with “ZaNG” and “Unwanted Consumer”
Adie’s first musical start was as Bass Guitarist with Punk Band “Trauma” (with Rob Birch of The Stereo Mc’s playing lead Guitar). He then played Guitar and toured the world for a year in 80’s band “B Movie”, before relocating to Sheffield and playing Bass in “Workforce”, (a band comprising of members of Cabaret Voltaire, I’m So Hollow and The Box).
Upon returning to London he played bass in “If” with ex Jo Boxers and Subway Sect members Rob Marche & Sean McClusky.
It was at this point in his career he turned more to engineering & worked extensively with “Earl Brutus”, on their critically acclaimed two albums. Adie has also engineered for the likes of legendary Record Producers Gus Dudgeon and Pip Williams and has recorded albums with artists such as John Cale and The Toy Dolls and has recorded and mixed albums with Snuff, Ty and David Ryder Prangley.
Adie has also produced and played on albums for Ameripolitan award winner “Sarah Vista” including the title track “Killing Fever” which was voted single of the year by German Rolling Stone magazine and the upcoming albums by Northern Soul legends “The Flirtations” and Louis Jones, previously of The “Warm Jets”, new band “Shriek of an Eagle”.
